Young Swansea City striker Chris Jones has joined Blue Square Premier Division side Cambridge United on a half-season loan.

The 18-year-old, who has made nine first-team appearances since making his debut in October 2006, will stay at The Trade Recruitment Stadium until January 2, 2009.

Chris has just returned from international duty with Wales Under-19's where they took part in the Northern Ireland Milk Cup.
